Loader/Sorter Job Description
A Loader/Sorter works in fast-paced environments to manage the movement of packages, products, or materials. Duties typically include:
- Loading and unloading trucks, containers, or delivery vehicles
- Sorting packages or products by destination, size, or category
- Scanning labels and verifying shipment details
- Stacking and organizing goods safely in storage areas
- Checking items for damage or missing labels
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area
- Following company procedures for handling inventory and shipments
- Assisting warehouse or logistics teams with daily operations
