Jr. Web Designer – PSD / Figma to HTML

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jr. Web Designer who can convert design ideas into clean, responsive, and visually attractive websites. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with layouts, colors, typography, and front-end code.

Role Overview

As a Jr. Web Designer, you will work closely with our design, development, and project management teams to create professional websites, landing pages, and eCommerce layouts.

You will mainly be responsible for converting PSD, Figma, and XD designs into HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and responsive web pages. You may also get opportunities to work on WordPress websites, Shopify stores, landing pages, and client branding projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create modern, clean, and user-friendly website designs.
• Convert PSD to HTML, Figma to HTML, and XD to HTML with good accuracy.
• Develop responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Design layouts for business websites, landing pages, WordPress websites, and Shopify stores.
• Ensure websites work properly on mobile, tablet, laptop, and desktop screens.
• Check browser compatibility across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and other major browsers.
• Work with developers and project managers to complete tasks on time.
• Follow brand guidelines, design systems, and client requirements.
• Improve website design for better loading speed, usability, and SEO performance.
• Update existing website pages, banners, sections, and layouts when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with PSD to HTML and Figma to HTML conversion.
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first layouts.
• Basic knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, or Illustrator.
• Basic understanding of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Ability to create clean, structured, and reusable front-end code.
• Good sense of layout, spacing, colors, typography, and visual balance.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles and wireframing.
• Familiarity with WordPress page builders like Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery.
• Basic understanding of Shopify themes, product pages, collection pages, and landing pages.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control tools.
• Understanding of website accessibility and performance optimization.
• Ability to design creative banners, hero sections, forms, and promotional web layouts.
• Basic SEO-friendly design understanding.
