Full job description
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults in engine, transmission, suspension, braking, and electrical systems
- Carry out overhauling of aggregates like engine, gearbox, axles, etc.
- Attend on-site breakdowns and provide quick resolution
- Perform inspection and servicing as per OEM standards
- Maintain service records and job cards
- Coordinate with spare parts and store team for parts availability
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Support field operations and travel to different locations if required
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of heavy commercial vehicles (HCVs)
- Experience in diesel engines, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
- Basic understanding of vehicle electricals and diagnostics
- Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot faults
- Hands-on experience with tools and service equipment
