About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and PostgreSQL to design and build scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have experience handling complex business logic, database optimization, and secure API architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful and scalable APIs using Node.js
• Architect backend services using modular and clean architecture principles
• Design optimized database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT / OAuth)
• Ensure application security and data protection best practices
• Optimize database queries and backend performance
• Implement caching strategies (Redis preferred)
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Node.js (Express / Fastify)
• 4+ years of backend development experience
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL (indexes, joins, query optimization)
• Experience with ORM tools (Sequelize / Prisma / TypeORM)
• Strong understanding of REST API design principles
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker and deployment workflows

Good to Have

• Experience with message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Experience building event-driven architectures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
