About the Role

Anandi School is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to support young learners in a child-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and hands-on experience working with nursery-aged children. We are looking for someone who can actively support teachers in creating engaging, play-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, independence, creativity, and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Early Years Teacher in planning and implementing engaging learning experiences.
• Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Facilitate play-based learning activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development.
• Observe and document children's learning, progress, and developmental milestones.
• Support classroom routines, transitions, and daily activities.
• Encourage positive behavior, independence, and social interaction among children.
• Prepare and organize learning materials and classroom resources.
• Assist with indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support each child's individual needs.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and child safeguarding.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree, Diploma, or certification in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with nursery-aged children (mandatory).
• Experience in at least one of the following educational approaches is highly preferred:
• International Baccalaureate (IB)
• Montessori
• Reggio Emilia
• Waldorf
• Play-Based Learning Curriculum
• Strong understanding of child development and early years learning practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Patient, caring, creative, and energetic personality.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting inquiry-based and child-led learning.
• Strong observation and documentation skills.
• Classroom management and behavior guidance abilities.
• Creativity in designing engaging learning experiences.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
