Position Title: Training Manager

Department: Learning & Development

Location: The LaLiT Chandigarh

Job Purpose:

The Training Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all learning & development initiatives across the hotel. The role focuses on enhancing team member capability, driving service excellence, improving guest experience, supporting leadership development, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and hospitality best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs through TNI, audits, feedback, and departmental discussions.
  • Prepare and implement monthly and annual training calendars.
  • Conduct induction and orientation programs for new joiners.
  • Deliver behavioral, functional, and service excellence training programs.
  • Facilitate departmental SOP and process training sessions.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, audits, and feedback analysis.

Service Excellence & Guest Experience

  • Drive guest-centric culture across departments.
  • Conduct grooming, etiquette, and hospitality standards sessions.
  • Support departments in improving guest satisfaction scores and online reputation.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance overall team engagement and service delivery.

Leadership & Capability Building

  • Support succession planning and leadership development programs.
  • Coach departmental trainers and buddy trainers.
  • Conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs.
  • Mentor supervisors and executives on people management and team handling.

Compliance & HR Initiatives

  • Ensure all mandatory trainings are completed as per policy.
  • Maintain training records, attendance, certifications, and MIS reports.
  • Coordinate statutory and compliance-related trainings.
  • Support HR engagement activities, townhalls, listening sessions, and employee wellness initiatives.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with HODs to identify operational skill gaps.
  • Share monthly training reports and training man-days data.
  • Monitor training ROI and impact on operational performance and attrition.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
