Bio Medical Engineer Hospital jobs

• Responsibilities - Responsible for the preventive and breakdown maintenance of medical equipment of the hospital and its associate installation. Ensuring the adherence to the preventive maintenance plan drawn and effective completion of breakdown maintenance.
• Calibration schedule and its completion.
• Budget preparation.
• Setting up systems and work instructions for all activities of the department ensuring the adherence of standards in the biomedical department as defined. Documentation of all the Bio-medical procedure/process as per NABH standard.
• Evaluate the legal, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
• Train clinicians end-user and other personnel on the proper use of equipment, either through vendor or in-house.
• Liaising with technicians and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of a product in terms of design and economic viability.
• Continue learning of BME technological advancements.
• Inventory of the Medical equipment and Instrument, to be maintained in software.
• Inventory of the Medical equipment and Instrument, to be maintained in software master and checked on regular basis.
• Analysis of frequent breakdowns of medical equipment and proposed solutions.
• Technical comparative for purchase of any new/replaced medical equipments.

Qualifications and Experience - Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized institution.
3–5 years of relevant experience in biomedical equipment management and maintenance, preferably in a NABH-accredited hospital or healthcare facility.
Sound knowledge of installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of medical equipment.
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and biomedical equipment management software.
Good communication and coordination skills
