Position: Associate/ Sr. Associate - FDD

Job Purpose

We are looking to add talented financial professionals at the Associate/ Sr. Associate level to our fast-growing FDD team. As a professional in the group, you will be teamed with a highly talented and dedicated group of transaction advisory professionals, providing you with broad exposure to different transactional issues affecting businesses within the M&A market today.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, leading workstreams within the due diligence.
• Analysing in depth financial information (trial balances, income statements, balance sheets and cash flows)
• Identification of key issues and carrying out relevant financial analysis
• Taking ownership of smaller assignments or parts of larger assignments, reporting to a VP or SVP
• Writing sections of an FDD / VDD report
• Develop operational insights utilizing data & analytics in order to analyze the drivers of profitability and evaluate key risks and opportunities of a company
• Build proficiency in industry skills and qualifications
• Learning and deploying new-age technologies to enhance insights and efficiency on engagements
• Reviewing the work performed by the subordinates and coaching them
• As Senior Associate, take responsibility for learning and development of 1-2 junior members
• Establishing strong professional relationships with internal / external clients

Basic Qualifications

• Qualifications: CA / CPA/ MBA / CFA / Master / PGDM in Finance or Accounting
• Experience: The candidate must have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role in a professional services firm. FDD experience is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial skills (IFRS and GAAP)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills
• Excellent written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated with an exceptional work ethic, and a demonstrated ability and desire to work cooperatively with team members and client professionals
• Strong analytical abilities, knowledge of data analytics tools is an added advantage.
