Position Title

Purpose of the Role

The HR Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to support strategic and operational decision-making. The role ensures accurate HR reporting, workforce analytics, compliance, and process improvement while providing insights that enhance organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

HR Data Management

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular HR data audits.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports.
  • Analyze workforce metrics such as:
  • Headcount
  • Turnover
  • Retention
  • Absenteeism
  • Recruitment metrics
  • Diversity and inclusion metrics
  • Develop dashboards and reports for leadership.

Recruitment Analytics

  • Track recruitment KPIs including:
  • Time-to-fill
  • Cost-per-hire
  • Source effectiveness
  • Offer acceptance rate
  • Provide insights to improve recruitment strategies.

Performance & Talent Analytics

  • Support performance management reporting.
  • Analyze employee engagement and performance trends.
  • Identify workforce risks and opportunities.

HRIS Management

  • Maintain and update the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Generate reports from HRIS platforms.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and user training.

Compliance

  • Ensure HR reporting complies with labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Support internal and external HR audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or HR certification is desirable.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR analytics, HR operations, or HR reporting.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, BambooHR, or Zoho People).
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.

Required Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboards).
  • Power BI or Tableau.
  • HR metrics and workforce analytics.
  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • Report writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and timeliness of HR reports.
  • HRIS data accuracy.
  • Dashboard utilization and reporting quality.
  • Recruitment analytics turnaround time.
  • Employee data compliance rate.
