Full job description
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Human Resources Manager to oversee the complete employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on recruitment, employee performance, disciplinary matters, and terminations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for hiring qualified employees, supporting management with staffing decisions, handling sensitive workplace matters professionally, and ensuring all HR actions comply with applicable employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete recruitment process, including creating job postings, screening applications, conducting interviews, checking references, and preparing employment offers.
- Work with management to identify staffing requirements and hire suitable candidates for office, sales, warehouse, and operational positions.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, employment documentation, and probationary-period reviews.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, attendance information, warnings, and performance documentation.
- Develop and maintain workplace policies, employee handbooks, job descriptions, and HR procedures.
- Monitor employee attendance, conduct, productivity, and workplace performance.
- Support managers in addressing performance concerns, employee complaints, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary matters.
- Prepare written warnings, performance improvement plans, and other disciplinary documentation.
- Manage employee terminations professionally, including documentation, termination meetings, final-pay coordination, and return of company property.
- Ensure hiring, discipline, layoffs, and terminations comply with applicable employment standards, human rights requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct workplace investigations and document findings when necessary.
- Assist with compensation reviews, vacation tracking, benefits administration, payroll information, and employee leave requests.
- Promote a respectful, productive, and professional workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or similar position.
- Strong experience with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, discipline, and termination procedures.
- Good understanding of applicable employment laws and workplace regulations.
- Excellent communication, interviewing, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Comfortable making difficult and fair employment decisions when required.
The ideal candidate will be confident, organized, fair, and capable of managing sensitive employee matters independently while protecting both the company and its employees.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
