The Opportunity:

The Clinical Documentation Senior Specialist ensures accurate and comprehensive provider documentation to support appropriate severity of illness, risk adjustment, and compliance with coding and regulatory standards. Collaborates with physicians, clinical teams, and coding professionals to validate documentation integrity and optimize quality reporting and reimbursement. Reviews medical records to identify gaps in clinical documentation and facilitates timely clarification with providers to ensure accurate representation of patient conditions and procedures. Partners with coding and care teams to align documentation with clinical indicators, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards for data integrity and revenue compliance. Completes timely initial and concurrent reviews of the patient medical record for Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) and documentation integrity utilizing CDI Software.
