Full job description

Title: Medical Editor

Location: Work from home

Mandatory skills: 3+ yrs in Medical Editing, AMA, digital/print content, excellent communication.

The Medical Editor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of

medical and promotional materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and an

understanding of industry regulations to maintain compliance.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline.

· 3+ years of experience in medical editing, scientific editing, medical communications, healthcare content, or pharmaceutical content review.

· Strong knowledge of AMA Style Guide and medical editorial standards.

· Experience reviewing scientific publications, promotional materials, slide decks, manuscripts, abstracts, or healthcare communication content.

· Excellent written communication, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.

· Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience within medical communications agencies, pharmaceutical organizations, healthcare communications, or scientific publishing environments.

· Familiarity with promotional review processes and healthcare industry compliance requirements.

· Experience working with both digital and print content production workflows.

· Exposure to reference management and literature validation processes.

· Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including writers, designers, and account stakeholders.
