Job Title: Technical Support Field Support (Networking & Wi-Fi)

Location: Baner, Pune

Experience- 4 to 6

Position Overview

We are seeking a *Senior Technical Support Specialist* to join our dynamic Customer Support team. In this role, you will provide expert-level technical assistance to our global clients, ensuring the smooth, reliable, and efficient use of our networking products. You will work closely with the Engineering and Product teams to resolve complex technical issues while contributing to the development of best practices for customer support and troubleshooting.

This position combines *office-based technical support* with *field-based customer support*, requiring both remote troubleshooting and on-site technical assistance when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex networking issues related to Wi-Fi, Access Points, Switches, and Routers.

Escalation Management: Handle escalated technical issues and critical customer situations, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions.

Field Technical Support: Visit customer locations across India, as required, to conduct site surveys, network assessments, installation support, troubleshooting, product demonstrations, and issue resolution.

Site Surveys: Perform pre-installation and post-installation Wi-Fi surveys, collect technical data, analyze network performance, and recommend optimal deployment solutions.

Collaborate with Engineering:* Work closely with the Engineering and Product teams to investigate and resolve advanced technical issues.

Process Improvement:* Contribute to improving support processes and troubleshooting methodologies to enhance customer satisfaction.

Knowledge Management:* Build and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides while staying updated on new product features and releases.

Customer Feedback:* Gather customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve products and support services.

Team Guidance:* Mentor junior technical support engineers and share technical knowledge and best practices.

Work Model

* This role follows a *50% Work from Office (WFO)* and *50% Field Support* model.

* Office-based work will involve remote technical support, issue analysis, documentation, and coordination with Engineering and Product teams.

* Field assignments will include customer visits, site surveys, installation support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance at customer locations across India.

* Candidates should be willing to travel extensively based on business requirements.

* *The company will arrange accommodation and reimburse all official travel expenses, including transportation, lodging, and other approved field-related expenses, as per the company travel policy.*

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.

* Strong understanding of networking concepts including Wi-Fi technologies, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, Routing, and Switching.

* Hands-on experience supporting enterprise-grade networking products such as Access Points, Switches, and Routers.

* Advanced troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex networking and Wi-Fi issues.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

* Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to manage high-priority customer issues effectively.

* Ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, Sales, Product, and Customer Support teams.

* Willingness to travel across India on short notice, as required for customer support and project deployments.

* Experience mentoring or guiding junior technical support engineers.

* Familiarity with the latest Wi-Fi technologies, enterprise networking solutions, and network security concepts.

* Experience in RF/Wi-Fi site surveys and wireless network optimization.

* Knowledge of support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Experience working directly with enterprise customers during deployment and post-sales support.
