Research Associate Trainee – Computer Science

Location: Gandhipuram, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Work Mode: Full-Time | In-Office Only

Salary

Training Period: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 per month

After Confirmation: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on performance and skills)

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic Research Associate Trainees who are interested in building a career in academic research, technical writing, and Computer Science research.

This is a structured training role where you will learn how research papers, literature reviews, technical reports, and thesis documents are prepared for international journals and conferences.

You will work under the guidance of experienced researchers and gradually take ownership of research support activities as your skills develop.

Research Domains

You will gain exposure to projects in one or more of the following areas:

• Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
• Data Science & Analytics
• Computer Vision & Image Processing
• Cybersecurity
• Computer Networks
• Internet of Things (IoT)
• General Computer Science Research

Training & Responsibilities

During your training period, you will learn to:

• Search and analyze recent research papers
• Conduct literature reviews and summarize research findings
• Organize references and citations using IEEE and other academic formats
• Format research papers, theses, and technical documents
• Prepare comparison tables and research summaries
• Assist in manuscript preparation and documentation
• Support senior researchers with publication-related activities
• Improve technical writing and academic English
• Learn the research publication process from idea to submission

Responsibilities will gradually increase based on your learning progress and performance.

A Typical Day in This Role

You may spend your day:

• Reading and summarizing research papers
• Preparing literature review tables
• Formatting research manuscripts
• Organizing references and citations
• Assisting with technical documentation
• Supporting senior researchers in ongoing projects

Education

• B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics & Communication, or related disciplines)

Experience

• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with up to 1 year of experience in research writing, technical writing, thesis documentation, or academic projects may also apply.

Preferred Skills

• Good written and reading skills in English
• Basic understanding of Computer Science concepts
• Strong analytical and logical thinking
• Attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word
• Interest in research and technical documentation
• Willingness to learn new concepts and work in a research-oriented environment
