Optician job summary
A good job description starts with an attention-grabbing summary of the position and its role within your company. Your summary should provide an overview of your company and expectations for the position. Outline the types of activities and responsibilities required for the job so job seekers can determine if they are qualified, or if the job is suitable for them.
Example of an Optician job summary
Our optical clinic needs a Certified Dispensing Optician to join our team. We run an efficient and friendly office with no weekend hours and two Ophthalmologists on staff. The successful candidate should be prepared to work up to 40 hours per week (no overtime) and should be knowledgeable about all different types of contact lenses and glasses. The vast majority of our patients wear contacts, but we sell frames in-house and ship out orders for lenses. If you enjoy serving patients of all ages and if you have a license in good standing, we want to talk to you.
